Working Languages
The working language of the conference is English. Please note that no translation will be provided for paper sessions.
PROPOSALS
The three categories of proposals are: (1) individual papers, (2) posters, (3) workshops.
Individual papers: Papers are formal presentations on original research by one or more authors, lasting a total of 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion). Please note that the time limit will be strictly adhered to. Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words in length.
Posters and e-posters: Poster sessions are for displaying research that offers the opportunity for individualized, informal discussion of the research. Posters are especially effective for presenting work-in-progress, fieldwork and results of empirical research if data can be presented visually (e.g. charts, graphs, tables). A block of time will be designated when presenters are available to discuss their posters. Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words in length.
Posters may be any size up to a maximum of A1 (594mm x 840mm) or equivalent made up of separate sheets. Electronic versions of each poster accepted can be in the following formats up to a maximum size of 10MB. They may be posted on the conference website for 12 months following the conference:

Professional Development Workshops
Workshop sessions must include active audience participation through experiencing and discussing tasks provided by the workshop facilitator. Workshop sessions will generally be around 40-60 minutes.
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
Submission of proposals for papers, posters, and workshops is open and will close on April 6, 2025. Acceptance of notification will be send by April 10, 2025. Proposals must be submitted at fltalproceedings@gmail.com
EVALUATION OF PROPOSALS
Proposals for individual papers, posters, and workshops will be evaluated by the FLTAL 2025 scientific committee and the organizing committee in terms of quality of content, significance, originality, thematic relevance, and presentation. The organizing committee reserves the right to decline paper/workshop/poster proposals without assigning reasons.
FTLAL 2025 CONFERENCE PRESENTATION POLICIES
Individuals may submit a maximum of one abstract as first author of a paper or a poster. It is assumed that all proposals represent original and unpublished work that is not yet available to the research community.
The presenter must be a registered attending participant at the conference
The conference policy is that the author will present the paper on the day and time assigned by the conference organizing committee
Equipment
Video replay equipment, overhead projectors, and computers (with Microsoft Windows XP and Office 2003) will be provided.
